Description of the language levels based on the Common European Framework for Languages.

A1 At the end of this level you can understand and use familiar everyday expressions. You can introduce yourself and others and ask and answer questions about personal details such as where you live, people you know and things you have.

A2 I you have finished the A2 German course you can speak in sentences with frequently used expressions relating to the areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. basic personal and family information, shopping, and employment). You can have simple conversations if the other person speaks slowly and gives you a hand.

B1 At the end of the B1 German course you can speak in more than just simple sentences, producing e.g. connected sentences on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. You can understand the main points of clear, standard language relating to familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, and leisure.

B2 Without any problems you can have a normal conversation with native speakers after this German course. And you can also produce detailed text on a wide range of subjects.

C1 In the C1 German course understand a wide range of demanding longer texts and can express yourself fluently and spontaneously. Having finished this level, you are ready for the exams you need for studying in Germany (DSH / TestDaF).

C2 On this state of your German language development you will approach close to the level of a native speaker, understanding with ease virtually everything heard or read, expressing yourself spontaneously, fluently and precisely, differentiating between subtle shades of meaning, even in more complex situations.
